These courses are delivered with an expert instructor standing in front of you for all, or part of the course. For blended courses we will provide some video e-learning for you to complete before your face to face session. This helps make it more flexible for busy schedules!

Our Anaphylaxis Awareness Level 2 (VTQ) course covers how to recognise and respond to an anaphylactic reaction. We look at the use of EpiPen, Jext and Emerade auto-injectors to make sure staff are happy with the differences and how to administer them should they be needed. We also look at how to make sure the medication is stored properly and ready to be used if needed.
This is key training for any staff working with children who have anaphylaxis or those staff that lead First Aid in your school.
Unlike many other anaphylaxis training sessions, our certificate is valid for 3 years saving valuable staff CPD training time. We can also bolt this session on to some of our other courses and dual-certify to make your training session a very efficient use of time and resources!

All schools in the UK have to make correct provision for first aid in the workplace, our Appointed Person course is ideal for all school staff who are supporting a First Aider holding the full First Aid at Work qualification. This course is taught under the guidelines of the HSE First Aid at Work Regulations.
Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or School First Aid courses are ideal for school staff, but this course can be completed 100% remotely via live webinar sessions with one of our team, unlike the other workplace courses. This saves you money and makes it a much more flexible option, it is designed to give school staff a basic understanding of first aid requirements and basic treatments.

It might be called a ‘basic’ course but it covers more than you might expect! A great introduction to some of the key elements of First Aid including recovery position, CPR, bleeds, burns, and more! This is a very flexible course that we can run at your venue for a group of between 3 and 12 people or you can join one of our public courses. We can also offer this as a fully remote course via live webinar sessions

This half-day course covers exactly what you’d expect in a basic life support course. It's only half a day, so many people feel it is the perfect course to give your students the basics in a condensed period of time.
This course is often used in conjunction with either our Mental Health Awareness L1 or our Mental Health Toolkit course to make a great well-being training day. We can offer variations to this too, including adding in AED training
As with all our courses, we can travel to your venue and deliver to your team in their normal working environment or you can join one of our public courses. We can also arrange training over a series of shorter sessions if preferred

Our Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Level 2 course is aimed at those with an existing FirstAid qualification. It refreshes some of the basic elements of CPR and then focusses on when and how a defibrillator should be used.
We will also go through the regular maintenance checks that should be carried out and how to record these ensuring that if your AED in school is ever needed it will be ready.
Ideal for all schools that have an AED on-site and is particularly important to those responsible for the maintenance of the unit. This course can be run at your school giving us the advantage of being able to have a look at your exact piece of equipment, we can also run this course as a virtual session with our range of training AED units.

This HSE-compliant First Aid At Work (FAW) course meets the needs of fully qualified workplace First Aiders, it’s ideal for the Lead First Aiders in your school. We will happily tailor the course to your school and make sure we cover any specific issues or problems your staff team may encounter. This qualification can be renewed by completing our 2-day FAW Requalification course provided that your current FAW certificate has not expired.
As with all our courses, we can travel to your workplace and deliver to your team in their normal working environment or you can join one of our public courses. We can also arrange training over a series of ‘twilight’ sessions to fit in at the end of the school day.

This course covers all the basic first aid syllabus points but also looks at coping with these situations in more remote locations. We look at how you might need to call for help and what form that help might arrive in.
For those who need a 16-hour course, we also offer the 2-day, 16hr Outdoor Pursuits First Aid. Often this course is required by outdoor activity providers rather than the 1-day version.
